CL did not mince her words or thoughts while writing this story and the outcome of it was this beautiful and poetic story that hits you hard. I adore them with all my heart and I love that CL Matthews gave them a raw and gritty story.
Jase and Lo are not perfect people, far from it. I 100% knew I was setting myself up for a world of pain and I LOVED/HATED every damn minute of it. Heartbreak, pain and agony bled from the pages and there was no stopping them. That being said, it was not an easy story to read. I knew if I even blinked or moved I’d regret it. Description: Youd think five years would be enough time to cope and move on. I was invested from page one and then some. I know this book is not everyone’s cup of tea but I read it in one sitting, without breathing, eating or blinking. Let me start of by saying that this book has a lot of triggers and you should be careful while reading. Matthews and Im so impressed This is such a powerful, deeply emotional story.

This book took me on such an emotional ride and honestly triggered things in my own marriage. I did lots of Inhaling and exhaling while reading. This book was more than a book it was a true to life look at how marriage is and can be. Matthews and I am very honored that I was able to read this book for my honest review. Matthews is married to her childhood best friend, she got her happily ever after.įirst I have to say that this is the very first book I have read by C.L. Her hobbies consist of crafting, drinking coffee until she can’t consume any more, and reading until she falls asleep with books in her lap. Matthews is a swag maker, reader, and a fairly new author, it isn’t an easy task but she wants to succeed in many things. She is known for her swag business and creative pieces. She is not a fan of the snow but loves her state just the same. Matthews resides in Utah, the state with the best snow on earth.
